world and finds himself dealing with people after his life My Thoughts This gets off to an interesting start I m not expecting much, but I do expect Yuu Watase s usual style Lots of magic and drama and action. So far, I like both Aratas, but I like the long, black haired Arata best I hope to see just as much of him as Arata Hinohara, even though the main story is really about him I have to wonder if the two of them will switch back to their own worlds at the end of the series Considering that only Hinohara is the sho for the hayagami passed down through the hime clan, I don t see how that is possible Especially with what the princess asked of him Who knows, maybe they ll both be better suited to the worlds they ve ended up in I foresee romance between Arata of the modern world and Kotoha No surprise since Watase is known for her romance I ve been a Yuu Watase fan since I read FY when I was younger One of the reasons I liked her stories so much was due to their originality She seems to recycle a lot of themes and plot devices from series to series Whereas that may make her newer seriespredictable and less original than her earlier series, I will continue to read the Arata series for nostalgia s sake That and the artwork is cute.I would not give Arata 5 stars like FY, but I definitely think it is worthy of 4 I would re I ve been a Yuu Watase fan since I read FY when I was younger get further into it If that is the case, I will amend this review later Arata was very different than what I was expecting in a good way If you have ever read anything by Yuu Watase, such as Fushigi Yugi, then you know that her writing involves adventure, action, and romance with the first two come behind the romance aspect This made lead some readers to believe that her novels are geared toward the female reader This is not the case with Arata This novel is high in action and adventure with a microscopic hint of romance While I can that the novel is not tar Arata was very different than what my opinion may change. But what will not change is the Watase sparkle Every manga I have ever read of Watase s has this sparkle that I find so rarely in other novels So what is the sparkle It is a novel filled with memorable characters that you will think of long after you have read the last page, amazing premises that keep you on the edge of your seat, and outstanding drawings that can take your breath away For me, there is nothing like a work by Watase They are a joy to read, and I have yet to find one that I have not devoured.I am happy to report that Arata follows in this great tradition This is an action packed novel that involves world travel, action, intrigue, and quite a few twists Arata will pull you in and not let go till the last page There is a lot here for both male and female readers to enjoy And I will be waiting excitedly to see what happens next Again, trying something different and while it had elements I do like, this format is not right for me I d rather a novelization that is not manga over the top as this is. I discovered this series while I was browsing the books at my local library I had never heard of Arata The Legend or Yuu Watase Well I am definitely glad that I found this book The story was interesting It s a simple case of two characters swapping worlds, but it was well set up and I liked the fantasy world that Watase created It s not like the world is completely fantastical there are really only a few out there elements But there s a nice sprinkling of fantasy There was some good c I discovered this series while I was browsing the books at my local library I had never heard of mixed into the story and I chuckled a few times The additional material at the end of the volume included some funny material You get to see the fun side of the writer and her assistants Reading those additional things made me like the creators.Overall, I look forward to watching the characters develop and if the story continues to move at this pace, some crazy things will surely go down I have good memories of reading Yuu Watase s mangas, even if the didn t age very well, but most of the stories I read from her had teenager girls as main characters and they were really bland for the most part So, when I found this manga lying around in my favorite local public library, I was quite intrigued by this one Heey, I male protagonist for a change Let s see how the story changes.Turns out the story is SO MUCH BETTER Unlike all stories I had read from Yuu Watase, once the gender I have good memories of reading Yuu Watase s mangas, even if the didn t age very well, but most of the stories I character changes, the focus is no longer on the romance, which I can greatly appreciate It certainly would be nice to read Watase s stories with female characters that were as spirited as the Arata from the fantastic world Both Arata are very likeable and Hinohachi is very relatable.Watase s drawing style is as impeccable as ever I may not have enjoyed her previous stories as much, but I can definitely appreciate her outfit designs.I m looking forward to read the next volume of the series SO this is the book I wrote about briefly in my last review, Cyclone I ve read all the way up to book four I think but I m lazy sick with a fever and won t be writing a review for them XD This book series is great, although as it progresses becomes a little heavy on the weird made up words I d actually like to seeof the modern day, but thats not how it works out The final book I read ends on a note like Oh, so you wantedmodern day Well heres your modern day and heres SO this is the book I it contains spoilers To view it, click here This book is really good Even though it takes a long time for the books to come out, it has lots or action, dark pasts, fantasy, some romance, and drama It
